Waikiki Main Drain Ocean Outfall Replacement

From planning to execution amidst environmental challenges, it was more than a day at the beach for Aaro in providing a complete solution for Water Corporation down in Waikiki

Aaro were engaged by Water Corporation to demolish an existing drainage outfall structure on the Waikiki beachfront and replace with an engineered modular precast outfall structure, which tied into new piles and the existing drainage pipe.
Through strategic planning surrounding public interface, environmental impacts, weather, tides, dewatering and bypassing, the project was coordinated and delivered with precision and to specification.
As a one-stop-shop provider of all the pre-cast components, we were relied upon heavily in the design stages to provide input on overcoming some minor design challenges. Our team of highly qualified drainage experts was ready to take on this project from start to finish through detailed planning and quality project management.
