Givingback

We give back to the communities that support our business by collaborating with charities and partnerships that are close to our hearts.

One group, many services

Community Partnering

At Aaro, we believe in doing the right thing. That’s why we partner with many organisations and give back to the community that supports our business.

A local focus and inclusive mindset drive our approach to Community, ranging from indigenous partnerships to sports.

Community means being a part of a team, and doing your bit to give back. Supporting teams like the Wildcats and Karratha Football & Sporting Clubs promote teamwork, fitness, inclusivity and doing the right thing – things we are passionate about. Whether it be a local focus, or extending our support to communities in the North West and Indigenous Partnerships, Aaro is committed to making a difference to support the people who support our business. Together we achieve more.

Yurra and Rio Tinto Indigenous Community Partnering

We work in partnership with Yurra, a business owned by the Yindjibarndi people of Roebourne, aimed at delivering civil asset and management solutions in WA and Northern Australia.

Yurra employs and trains people from different language groups across the Pilbara.

We work together to deliver large-scale projects while helping to build sustainable communities through local engagement and training. Our collaborative partnership is one of many that are helping Yurra achieve positive social, economic and cultural outcomes. Together, we’ve successfully completed many large projects for Rio Tinto in the Pilbara.

Perth Wildcats

We love basketball but that’s not the only reason we sponsor the Perth Wildcats.

The Wildcats have a long history in Australian sport and a strong community focus. They’re involved in supporting local basketball, school visits, kids and holiday programs. Our support as a sponsor helps them along their way.

Water Aid - Walk for Water

771 million people in the world – one in ten – do not have clean water close to home. This is a cause that speaks to us here at Aaro and by participating in the "Walk for Water" campaign, we are hoping to raise awareness and funds so people around the world can access clean water for the first time. It's a great cause with every little bit helping go towards supplying clean water, decent toilets & good hygiene to kids and family's that are less fortunate.

Karratha Kats Football & Sporting Club

"Once a Katter Always a Katter" - Proud Supporters of Karratha Kats Football and Sporting Club.
Aaro believes in supporting our indigenous community and love sports of all kinds - so teaming up with Karratha Kats Football & Sporting Club was a perfect match. Aaro have helped fund a new indigenous dress for NAIDOC week for a number of teams under the Karratha Kats Football & Sporting Club banner to showcase the club's inclusivity and pride featuring a unique design by Karratha's own Anna Wailu.
